New Obama Supporter

I have to say that before November 4 I was a McCain supporter. At first I was disappointed that he lost, but then I realized that there is no reason in complaining about our new president just becuase he isn't the one I would have voted for. As a Christian, I believe that God chose Obama to run our country for a reason. He has a plan for the United States in the coming 4 years and that includes Obama. I think it is pointless and stupid for any McCain supporters and those who have the NOBAMA stickers on their cars to bash him and not respect and support him. He is the ruler of our country, not McCain and that isn't going to change. He deservers our respect because God calls us to obey our leaders. Hebrews 13:17 says, "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you". The author or Hebrews makes it very clear that God is telling us to show obedience to those that are in authority over us. God has called us to respect and obey President elect Obama which involves praying for him; not insulting him. I am now an Obama supporter because he is the leader of my country.
